25/08/2017- Medication delivery service changes
We would like to inform you about some changes that we are making to our home/remote delivery service.
Due to the increasing numbers of patients using our free delivery service and the higher demand on the Community team who use the surgery van for home visits, we have decided to change the time when we deliver your medication.
As of Monday 18th September we will no longer be delivering in the afternoon. All deliveries will be between 9.00am and 12:00pm on your usual day of delivery, to the usual location.
If your medication is delivered to one of the remote locations (Mileham, Gressenhall or Castle Acre Shop) then you will be required to sign a collection confirmation sheet when picking up your medication. This is a security measure to provide us with clarification of who collected the prescription and when.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but it was a necessary change for us to be able to carry on providing our delivery service and to continue to provide our high standard of care to all our patients.
If you require any further information then please do not hesitate to call the dispensary, where they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please allow 3 working days for remote deliveries to ensure we have all the medication in time for delivery. The current prescription charge is £8.40.
Due to the fact that delivery driver doesn’t carry money while delivering medications patient should qualified for free prescriptions or have pre-paid certificate to be able to use the service.
Controlled drugs cannot be delivered by the service.
If for any reason you will not be at home in time for the delivery, the medication will be returned to the surgery and it is patient's responsibility to arrange alternative collection from the surgery.
Repeat prescriptions requests collected from remote locations will be delivered the following week.
If you do not pay for your medications we will need a copy of a current exemption certificate.
