Appointments

Contact us through the NHS App, by phone or at reception. We will look at your request and decide the most suitable care for you.

How to ask for an appointment

Whichever way you contact us, you will be asked the same questions and your request will be treated in the same way.

What our online form is for

When it is available, use it for anything you would normally phone us about that is not an emergency, such as a new or ongoing health problem, a fit note, a referral letter, or a question about your medicines. Do not use it if you need help urgently – call 999 or 111.

What happens next

A clinician or trained member of our team reviews every request. Depending on what you need, we may:

If your problem is urgent we will contact you the same day. For all other requests we will reply within 24 hours.

Home visits

If you are housebound or too unwell to attend the surgery, please telephone before 12 noon to request a home visit.

We will assess your needs and, if a home visit is clinically necessary, arrange one according to the urgency of your condition. We cannot guarantee a same-day visit.

Cancel an appointment

If you cannot attend, please cancel as soon as possible so someone else can use the appointment. Phone us, reply to your appointment text message, or use the NHS App.

Chaperones and interpreters

You can ask for a chaperone for any examination. If you need an interpreter, including British Sign Language, tell us when you book and we will arrange one free of charge.
